Gratitude Days 8 & 9
Yesterday I was so grateful for a day off from school! I just love when we can sleep late, laze around all morning (or all day if we like) and do whatever we like. I feel like my children's lives are FAR more scheduled than mine ever was. They do FAR more homework and a lot more is expected of them. So, to have a day when nothing is expected is, in my opinion, marvelous!
Today I am grateful for Stanley Steemer. How do my carpets look? HOLY SMOKES!!! They look close to new. I could not believe the difference. They even got the big, fat wod of Silly Putty out of Daughter's carpet...That, in itself, is amazing. Kids came home from school and said, "Wow! It smells so good in my room!!!" I'm hooked. Stanley is my new heartthrob!!
I can't remember the last morning I woke up with nothing on my plate for
the day. I can only imagine how marvelous that is.
